Thomas Brooks is the Founder of Alpha Multimedia, Inc., a specialized marketing, public relations and public speaking firm. Brooks brings 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, public relations, technology, professional speaking and writing to the company.
Brooks previously worked in marketing roles for Hewlett-Packard (HP), Lucent Technologies, and Texas Instruments. Brooks has been published more than twenty times and has been featured in articles, on the radio, and on TV.
Brooks has presented papers and participated in panel discussions at several conferences and tradeshows, including the Communications Design Conference, Wharton Business School’s Whitney M. Young Memorial Conference, Wireless Symposium, and DSPx. Brooks won a national award from the Career Communications Group in the category of Technical Sales and Marketing for his work in corporate America.
Brooks received his B. S. Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988 and his MBA (Marketing Concentration) from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD in 1992.
Brooks is the author of the award-winning book A Wealth of Family: An Adopted Son’s International Quest for Heritage, Reunion and Enrichment [ISBN: 978-0977462933]. The book was named a “Best Books” Award Winner by USA Book News and was an Amazon bestseller in its category. This inspiring adoption and reunion saga delivers timely and provocative viewpoints on multicultural families and powerful insights on how to triumph over racism and poverty. His second book, 26.2 Ways to Just Do It Now: Keys for Sustainable Happiness and Success, launched in Fall 2020.
