blog-master-key-blueprintOne of the golden nuggets I have picked up from our Master Key Master Mind Alliance (MKMMA) class:

If we have a closed mind to negative thought, we will succeed in everything.  

Our subconscious mind is so powerful.   With our new blueprint, we must be the vigilant guardsman of our subconscious minds.  I have learned that thought is cause; it is all we have to master to improve.

We know from earlier in the course that:

The subconscious can and will solve any problem for us if we know how to direct it. The subconscious processes are always at work; the only question is, are we to be simply passive recipients of this activity, or are we to consciously direct the work? Shall we have a vision of the destination to be reached, the dangers to be avoided, or shall we simply drift?

Let’s look at the example of someone who wants to get rid of some unwanted weight.  Instead of fighting the response (e.g. eating late at night), one can just pick a new stimulus that the subconscious mind will respond to in a way that works for you.  For example, you can watch a quick exercise video clip (even if you have already done your workout for the day) and let that be the stimulus that causes you to drink water instead of eating late at night.   Also, instead of saying ‘I want to lose weight’, or even ‘I want to get rid of some weight’, one could just have the mantra of saying, ‘I make healthy choices 24-7’.  Keep it positive in terms of the direction you give to your subconscious.

Everything we do is a choice, and all choices have consequences.  (I learned this one from my 11th grade English teacher, but it is nice to see it again in this course.)

More golden nuggets from our readings and discussions:

Work is necessary – labor, hard mental labor, the kind of effort which so few are willing to put forth.

Then comes the process of visualization. You must see the picture more and more complete, see the detail, and, as the details begin to unfold the ways and means for bringing it into manifestation will develop. One thing will lead to another.  Thought will lead to action, action will develop methods, methods will develop friends, and friends will bring about circumstances, and, finally, the third step, or Materialization, will have been accomplished.

I can be what I will to be. 

On our weekly team call, I got this golden nugget that really resonates with me:  When you procrastinate, you give your problems to your future self.

I love my future self, so I definitely don’t want to give him any problems.  The key is to ‘DO IT NOW’.   I really enjoyed saying this to myself 25 times today.   And I am getting stuff done.

And I definitely have to stay out of the media.  I went to a news website on Wednesday, and there was a headline about a “Massacre in Jerusalem”.   An awful tragedy.   I truly hope it does not lead to more tragedy.  I also know that I have to focus on the new amazing reality I am creating for my family.

I am still working on not complaining (see Week 7 blog).  I must say that driving into Manhattan today, I did have a few negative thoughts with respect to traffic and pedestrians.

If we have a closed mind to negative thought, we will succeed in everything.

I have come so far already.  Today I begin a new life.

It is definitely time to ‘Think and Grow Rich’.
